One thing I try and do with One Hobby at a Time, is try and save a buck. Not to show that my incessant hobbies are slowly draining my family of its hard earned money, but to show that you can enjoy a hobby without spending an arm and a leg. There are resources out there that are inexpensive or sometimes free. For example, Instead of going to Barnes and Nobles or another book store to learn about managing an aquarium, I went to my local library, and rented a couple books at no cost.
That being said, here is the list of books that I have gathered to read and learn about managing an Aquarium:
- "Aquariums for Dummies" by Maddy Hargrove
- "Aquarium Fish" by Disk Mills
- "Tropical Fish" by Standelmann and Finley
- "Tetras and Other Characins" by Smith
